My bible is starting to fall apart! I am only in Jeremiah and it is starting to get flimsy and busting at the seams. Part of me doesn’t look forward to buying a new bible but the other part of me feels a little proud to read so much that it only lasts me 6 months.
Anyone have recommendations for a super sturdy bible? I want to get my bible to a place where it is withered and marked up but still usable!
After 9 weeks I am several days behind. My goal right now is to stay close enough through the prophets that I can catch up when I get to the new testament.
What a challenge this is becoming. I miss reading other books and just feel busy even though my schedule doesn’t say I am. I also feel close to God and feel like I understand Him in a different way than I have before so it does feel worth it.

I TOTALLY feel the same way. I miss reading other things and I feel pressed for time, but it’s been worth it. Hang in there!
I’m following a read-the-Bible-in-one-year-plan, and I find that a lot to take in. I can’t imagine trying to read it in 90 days!! I just got a new Bible recently that I love. It’s the Life Application Study Bible. I really enjoy reading all of the commentary. I find it helpful to understanding my daily readings and making them a richer, deeper experience (though it has increased my reading time, so that may be a big negative for you!).
